This Morocco Trilobite belongs to the species Struveaspis cf. maroccanica and comes from Jorf. From the site of Jorf came the first Moroccan Struveaspis to the fossil market. This Struveaspis shows a good preservation and offers a nice dark color. Usualy are Struveaspis from Jorf more pale brownish. The preparation the Struveaspis from Jorf does need quite some skill. The matrix is relative hard and has a high brittleness. Also the the carapace of Struveaspis is quite thin. | |||
