Products description
This is a fossil beetle of the species Actaea sphinx from the lithographic limestone of Eichstätt. Both cover wings are nicely open and on the left side is one of the fight wings preserved. On the right side is the second wing barely visibile. The second wings are rarely preserved on fossil beetles from Solnhofen. The fossil beetle is about 20 mm long. The elytra are about 11 mm long This is the lower plate side and the counterpart of this fossil.
