Here is a fossil example of a Beetle from the lithographic limestone of Eichstätt.
This negative shows a affinity to the species Palaeoheteroptera lapidaria. After Frickinger, 1994 is this species to the Heteroptera (Waterbugs). But the characteristic triangular shield is missing on this species. The fossil is about 40 mm long.
