Here is a inexpensive "Solnhofen Starfish" of the species  Riedaster reicheli from Ried.
This Riedaster shows well centered on a unbroken plate and offers a quite detailed preservation.
Some of the  spines of the starfish are good visibile.
The riedaster it self measures about 39 mm in diameter.
