This piece shows two complete trilobites from the Pragian (Lower Devonian) of Morocco. The fist Trilobite is belongs tgo the species Reedops cephalotes. Compleatly prone would this Trilobite be about 70 mm long. The second Trilobite belongs to the genus Morocconites. This Trilobite would be about 60 mm long, the frontal spine is compleately preserved up to the tip. This is a rare Pragian age Morocconites from Atchana. So this Morocconites do not belolng to the Emsian age species Morocconites malladoides STRUVE in BOUCOT et al., 1989. It is possibile that this Trilobite may belongs to a new species of Morocconites but Struve established two other Morocconites species. So maybe this trilobite also belong ether to Morocconites expansus STRUVE 1992 or Morocconites lemkei Struve 1992.
