Here is a excelnt preserved "Eodiscid Trilobite" of the rare species Dawsonia bohemica from the classical trilobite site of Jince. Trilobites from the sub order Eodiscina are mostly rare. The species Dawsonia bohemica was esablished by ŠNAJDR, 1950 as type species of the genus Aculeodiscus. In Jell, 1997 was the genus Aculeodiscus classified as synonym of Dawsonia (HARTT in DAWSON,1868). Recendly is the systematic status of the genus Aculeodiscus and Dawsonia discussed again (Sinclair G.W. 2014). | |||
