This is a interesting example of a predatory fish of the genus Caturus from Solnhofen.
This Caturus was most likely the victim of an even larger predatory fish.
Despite the obvious loss of substance on this fossil fish shows this specimen some very nice details. Prone would this fossil fish be abut 210 mm long.
