Here is a large and deteiled preserved "Solnhofen Dragonfly Fossil" of the species Cymatophlebia longialata. All 4 wings are preserved and show a the delicate net structures. The wings also quite inflated so that the folding is visible as well. This fossil dragonfly does have a wingspan of about 130 mm. The head and the thorax present as well but the abdomen was not preserved and is anatomical correct reconstructed.
