| Here is a example of a „Maider giant Phacops” of the species Drotops armatus. This specimen belongs to the rare short spines variation. Struve already mentioned this Variations as Drotops armatus forma accurate. Stuve assumed that all variations originate from one layer and side. This seems not to be the case. How ever, this specemen wound be about 147 mm long, if completely prone. | |||
