Here is a rare example of a quite rare Trilobite that likely belongs to the species Proetopeltis. This specimen show a unusual red preservation that is only known in this kind from a maller site on the Hamar Laghdad mud mounds. That trilobite locality become popolair thou the publication of Christian Klug et all 2009* where redish Triulobites with green eyes of the genus Morocops (Still under the synonym Barrandeops) being described. In fact those trilobites that are really coming from the Hamar Laghdad site are very rare. Especially in the 90’s and early 2000 manly fossil dealers claim that a piece come from that site or the Hamar Laghdad formation. (*Klug, C., Schulz, H., and De Baets, K. 2009.
