Here is a nice Trilobite cluster with three specimens of Ellipsocephalus hoffi together with a non trilobite Arthropod of the genus Forfexicaris. The genus Forfexicaris was initially described from the Konservat-Lagerstätte of Chengjiang. How ever Forfexicaris valida Hou, 1999 was known in two specimens from the Maotianshan shale. Surprisingly are members of the Forfexicarididae not that rare in a international frame. The are today known from the Jince formation as this specimen or even from the kambrian of the US or Scandinavia along with numerous other sites. | |||
