Here is a good example of a rare fossil plant from the lower Silurian of Wales. This specimen belongs likely to the genus Manitobia or Inocaulis, Rhizomorphia or similar Taxa. This is likely not a land plant but the massive preservation of the carbonized fossil substance is remarkable. There is even a fibrous like structure visible. | |||
