Here is a nice Trinucleid Trilobite of the just recently discriped species Declivolithus titan from Morocco. This specimen shows an good preservation and comes with the positive and negative side. The Declivolithus specimens fom Morocco show a high affinity to the Czech species Declivolithus alfredi (´elízko 1906). As Fortey & Edgecombe, 2017 mention it in the folloing quotation: “The Lower Ktaoua material is closely comparable to the type species in most features, even in having about 70–80 pits around the perim- eter of the fringe, and in the number of rows of pits (insofar as they can be counted) across any given section of the fringe. „ How ever Fortey & Edgecombe point out servile smaller differences to the Czech species and assign therefore the Moroccan material to an independent species. | |||
