| This is a fantastic Jurassic fossil of a cidaroid sea urchin of the species Plegiocidaris cervicalis from Nattheim in Germany. This fossil Echinoid shows a nice detailed preservation. Its capsule is intact and not deformed. It is a absolute authentic matrix fossil. It is not artificial mounted “on original matrix”. Everything is original and authentic. The Plegiocidaris fossil itself measures about 48 mm in diameter. Altogether is this a very nice display piece of a Jurassic Echinoid fossil from a classical German locality. | |||
