Products description

Here is an excellent Fossil shrimp of the species Aeger spinipes from the lithographic limestone  of Eichstätt. This Solnhofen fossil offers excellent preservation and extraordinary depth of detail. This can be well observed on the UV light images.
In addition, this Aeger offers a rich contrast and nice, strong color.
Good specimens of the genus Aeger in this quality are always rare.
The decapods fossil itself measures about 78 x 56 mm as it is. Completely prone the fossil shrimp would be about 120 mm long, without the antennas.
The fossil is nicely centered on the big plate.
Overall this is fantastic Solnhofen shrimp of the species Aeger spinipes on a beautiful plate.
