Here is a fossil crayfish of the species Palaeastacus fuciformis from the Solnhofener Plattenkalk Eichstätt. The fossil cancer offers a detailed preservation and a beautiful coloring. Unfortunately, some substance is missing in the lower pincer bale.
The fossil itself mesures about 28 x 17 mm on the plate, as it is.
