Here is a trilobite of the species Cambropallas telesto from the Middle Cambrian of Morocco. This trilobite comes with positive and negative sides. Like all larger trilobites from the Middle Cambrian of Morocco, this specimen was glued several times. Unfortunately, these trilobites often have considerable amount restorations and colorations. On this specimen these are limited to a pleasingly low level. There are essentially no restorations per se on the positive side, only small imperfections along the glue bonds. In the negative, an approx. 12 x 7 mm and a 15x8 mm spot has been restored and colored in the lower left area of the glabella and the left rim of the Cephalon. In short, only two spots on the head of the negativeside have been repaired. Otherwise, the trilobite has a good and detailed preservation. A Cambropallas of this quality is actually relatively rare and hard to find. | |||
