This trilobite from China is a large specimen of the species Sinosaukia distincta. In this specimen has the pygidium flipped under. And from the base are both genal spines mostly carved from the original matrix. Although they are partially preserved as second-order negatives the spines should be considered as restoration even it is not colorized. Prone would this trilobite would be almost 90 mm long. | |||
