This Lebanese fossil plate shows an attractive double with two fossil fish from the Cenomanian age of Hakel. The first specimen is a predatory fish of the species Eurypholis boissier with a length of about 56 mm. The second fossil fish is a specimen of the species Ctenodentelops striatus that measures approximately 32 mm. The Eurypholis has its mouth wide open and presents beautifully its sharp teeth. In addition, the scales behind the head show an interesting preservation of colour patterns. Overall this is a very decorative plate.
