[Syn:  Pseudoberyx longispina Davis 1887  = Nematonotus longispina]
This fossil fish from the cretaceous of Lebanon is a double of the species Nematonotus bottae. Nematonotus bottae is usually offered for sale under the synonym Nematonotus longispina *. The more complete specimen is approximately 75 mm long. The second Nematonotus is unfortunately incomplete and measures approximately 107 mm in length. This Lebanese fossil plate is rounded off by a shrimp of the species Carpopenaeus callirostris Glaessner 1945 and a juvenile fish with only 12 mm.
