| Here is a very nice Messel fish of the species Thaumaturus intermedius. The fossil fish is extremely well preserved. The species Thaumaturus intermedius is rarely offered for sale. The fossil itself is about 64 mm long and is a prime example of the soft body preservation of fossils from the Messel pit. | |||
