This is a Jurassic grasshopper fossil of the species Elcana longicornis in organic soft body preservation. The preserved soft tissue is highly fluorescent under uv light. The fossil insect offers a exceptional level of details. The Elcana longicornis itself is about 32 mm long. (without the Antenna)
