Products description

Here is a is a great Nevada trilobite of the species Nevadia weeksi. It’s a large and nice Trilobite from the Cambrian of Nevada.
This specimen is about 91 mm long and offers a very detailed and complete preservation. In particular, the long ophistothorax with the small pygidium is preserved. This is very rarely the case with the Trilobite species Nevadia weeksi.
The specieman does has some small restorations along the glue bonds, these are marked in red on separate a photo here in the shop. These works were carried out professionally by Paul Freitag (https://freitag-fossils.com/).
Overall is this a very large and rare Nevada trilobite of the species Nevadia weeksi as a top show case specimen.
