Here is a beautiful fossil double with a lobster-like crab of the species Eryma cretacea together with a small predatory fish of the genus Eurypholis.
The Eurypholis shows nicely the pointed sharp teeth in the mouth as well as the ornamentation of the armor scales in the neck area. This predatory fish fossil is about 38 mm long. The Eryma cretacea itself measures approx. 28 mm. This plate is an attractive combination of a fossil Decapod along with a juvenile specimen of a Cretaceous predatory fish from Lebanon.
