This is a relatively large fossil predator of the species Prionolepis cataphractus from the other chalk of Lebanon. This fossil fish would be stretched about 185 mm long.

 
 

Location:

 Hjoula, Byblos, Lebanon 
Size of Plate:about 180 x 145 mm
Age:Lower upper Cretaceous, Cenomanian,  Hakel Formation   (about 100 Ma)
