Here is a detailed example of a trilobite of the relatively rare species Dalejeproetus sagaouii from the Ihandar Formation of Maharch, in southern Morocco. Although this Dalejeproetus is not perfect, this trilobite can convince with an outstanding depth of detail. The fine microstructures of the shell and the small holocroal lenses of the trilobite's eye are extremely well preserved. The ornamentation of the carapace is reminiscent of the structure of a fingerprint. | |||
