This is a rare Morocco trilobite of the species Pilletopeltis maurus from Jbel Oufaten. The genus Pilletopeltis is actually an exotic representative of the Cheiruridae with the two frontal spines on the head shield and its filigree physique of the carapace in general. The trilobite offers good preservation and is presented on a decorative matrix. This trilobite has consistently no restorations at all. If fully stretched, this Pilletopeltis maurus specimen would be about 63 mm long. | |||
