Here is a detailed Morocco trilobite of the species Metacanthina maderensis from the Ihanda Formation. This Metacanthina maderensis shows a partially healed injury on the left side of the body. Three pleural segments are pathologically shortened. This specimen impresses with its outstanding preservation of details which also shows the finest structures of the trilobite carapace. When stretched, the trilobite would be about 59 mm long and present itself decoratively on a naturally designed matrix. | |||
