This split pair of a fossil long-arm lobster of the species Mecochirus longimanatus comes from the Solnhofen limestone of Eichstätt. The decapod fossil itself measures avout 210mm just as it is one on the plate. It would be approximately 250 mm in length. when fully stretched. | |||
