| This Morocco trilobite is a rare Morocconite from the Pragian of Atachana. This is not the Emsium species Morocconites malladoides STRUVE in BOUCOT et al., 1989, but a possibly new species of Morocconites. However, in addition to Morocconites malladoides, Struve described two other Morocconites species: It is therefore possible that this trilobite may also te be assigned at the species Morocconites expansus STRUVE 1992 or Morocconites lemkei Struve 1992. Stratigraphically, this Morocconites comes from the Ihandar Formation, above the Kohlihapeltis Couche of Atchana. When fully stretched, the Morocconites would be about 71 mm long. It is accompanied by a small Reedops which is about 17 mm wide. | |||
