This is a rare and quite large fossil predatory fish of the species Spaniodon latus from the Cenomaniac of Lebanon. This Spaniodon has a nicely visible prey fish in the belly. Presumably the swallowed fish is a specimen of the genus Sedenhorstia. The fossil predatory fish is about 156 mm long and fossil prey fish inside is roughly 40 mm long. | |||
