This is a fabulous Utah trilobite of the species Amecephalus idahoense from the middle Cambrian Spence Shale. The Trilobite offers a very nice and detailed and inflated preservation. Also the typical carapace ornamentation of Amecephalus idahoense is well preserved. On the right genal spine is a additional small Trilobite fossil. All in one it is a wonderful Utah trilobite plate that you won’t see every day. | |||
