This Burmese amber shows as a special fossil of a beautifully preserved Cyclophoridae snail. Fossil snails in amber are among the rarities from the Cretaceous Burma amber. Presumably, this Cyclophoridae snail is to be placed in the genus Lagocheilus. It is noteworthy that even the color pattern is preserved in this fossil. The fossil snail itself measures about 3 mm in diameter. | |||
