This fossil from the Chengjiang biota is a rare arthropod of the species Panlongia spinosa. This is a fossil arthropod from the Chengjiang biota that belongs to the species Panlongia spinosa. The exact systematic position of Panlongia is not yet certain determent. As it shows characteristics that correspond to either the Nektaspida or the Helmetia-like group of Conciliterga. In any case, Panlongia should be placed among the "trilobite-like" Trilobitomorpha. It should be noted here that the Trilobitomorpha are used relatively frequently since they are so practical, but this sub-stem is actually considered an outdated or latently invalid taxon. The fossil has a beautiful preservation to come with positive as well as negative side.
