This is an extraordinarily detailed Jince Trilobite of the species Ellipsocephalus hoffi.
This Ellipsocephalus hoffi shows a pronounced carapace sculptures on the posterior pleural segments and the pygidium as well. These terrace lines are rarely so clearly pronounced in Ellipsocephalus hoffi. It does not seem to be just a preservation variety. Apparently, this is also an intraspecies variety to be observed on this classical Trilobite species fon Jince.
