Here is a eurypterid from the Silurian of New York of the species Eurypterus remipes. This fossil sea scorpion presents itself from the ventral side and shows many beautiful details. Also does this Eurypterus show the long telson (tail sting) in a beautifully preservation. This specimen would be about 137 mm long, if completely strait. | |||
