Here is a very large specimen of a eurypterid of the species Eurypterus remipes from the Silurian of New York. Completely prone would this Eurypterus would have been about 230 mm long. The fossil offers a very nice depth of detail. This is a large and inexpensive example of aclassical Eurypterus from New York. | |||
