Here is a nice trilobite double from the Ordovician of Valongo, Portugal. This plate shows a complete specimen of species Salterocoryphe salteri as well as a large but unfortunately incomplete trilobite of the species Neseuretus tristani. The Neseuretus tristani is probably an exhuvia with the length of 76 mm. The Salterocoryphe measures about 30 mm. Both trilobites present themselves pleasingly on the massive plate, which also stands without an aid. | |||
