| Here is an inexpensive and very detailed specimen of a eurypterid of the species Balteurypterus tetragonophtalmus from the Silurian of Ukraine. As a special feature, this Eurypterus shows a fine surface structure. In addition, the muscle attachment points are particularly clearly visible in this specimen. The Eurypterus itself is about 37 mm long. | |||
