Products description

This is a beautiful and rare trilobite of the species Rielaspis elegantula from the Lower Silurian of Canada. This is probably the species Stelckaspis perplexa (Billings, 1866). Some sources suggest that these finds are a species or subspecies that has not yet been described.  The Rielaspis itself measures about 24 mm in length and presents itself on a decorative matrix.
