Here is an inexpensive fossil fish of the species Knightia eocaena from the Green River Foramtion of Wyoming. Small restorations or colorations are not uncommon with fish fossils from the Green River Formation, which are mostly in the area of the fin rays. There are also slight colorations in this specimen. The fossil fish itself is about 93 mm long.
