This is an really beautiful trilobite of the species Greenops widderensis in a detailed preservation. This Greenops from the Middle Devonian of Ontario, Canada presents itself pleasingly on a decorative matrix. There is also a tail shield of the same species on it. This trilobite has a small restoration along the bonding of the find fracture. This runs below the eye on the left side of the head shield. This restoration or wider adhesion is clearly visible on the UV image. The Greenops itself measures about 34 mm in length.
