Here is a very large asaphid trilobite of the species Platypeltoides carmenae from the lower Fezouata Formation of Morocco. This huge trilobite is about impressive 130 mm long and circa 113 mm wide. In addition, does this Platypeltoides offer a detailed preservation and good preparation. There are a few small restorations along the glues. These are easy to see on the UV image. This is a spectacular showpiece. | |||
