| Here we have a relatively large fossil solitary coral of the genus Zaphrentis, which exhibits an interesting mode of embedding. From the display side, the individual septa can be viewed from above into the coral. On the reverse side, the stem of the coral is visible. The fossil coral measures approximately 30 x 28 mm. | |||
