Products description

This fossil specimen of Eystaettia intermedius from Eichstätt is good preserved.
Above the fossil shrimp on the slab, several drift marks can be observed.
These marks are typically interpreted as molting attempts or the final movements of the organism within the oxygen-depleted zone of the lagoon.
The fossilized shrimp itself measures approximately 72 mm in its current position on the slab, while its body length is around 100 mm.
