This is an excellent Portugal trilobite of the species Eodalmanitina destombesi which sits nicely in the middle of a large and decorative matrix. The trilobite itself measures about 93 mm as it is on the plate. Particularly noteworthy is the long pygidial spine, which is not always so well preserved in specimens of this species.
