Products description

This is a rare and remarkable trilobite of the species Acernaspis orestes from the Lower Silurian, discovered on Anticosti Island in northeastern Québec, Canada.
The specimen is shown from the ventral side, which makes the exposed hypostome (mouth plate under the head shield) clearly visible. The trilobite measures about 19 mm in length.
