An exclusive rare piece from Switzerland of the famous Monte San Giorgio in the Tessin. This navy Nothosaurus lived, like finds of the stomach contents shows, probably predominantly predatory. The available copy was put by preparation in the original matrix. Three cervical vertebras are restored. The piece originates from an old collection; the locality is today UNESCO world cultural heritage. Saving of fossils is today exclusively for scientific purposes permitted.
