| This trilobite represents a rare specimen of the so-called “Dudley trilobite,” belonging to the species Cyphaspis elachopos. It is an exuvia, a molted exoskeleton. So the genal spines (free cheeks) are missing, although the distinctive dorsal spine is partially preserved. The fossil measures approximately 16 mm in length and originates from a very classic locality where no further finds are to be expected. | |||
