| This is a very large trilobite of the species Cambropallas telesto from the Middle Cambrian of the Jebel Ougnate region in Morocco. The specimen shows good preservation. The cephalon in particular is nicely and 3dimenstional preserved. Along the glued section, approximately halfway down the trilobite, some pleural segments have been partially restored. In total, two pleurae were partially repaired, and small gaps along the glued area were filled. Three axial rings also show partial restoration. Large trilobites from the Jbel Wawrmast Formation are rarely recovered without some degree of lost substance. The trilobite itself measures approximately 196 mm in length and comes with both the positive and negative plates. | |||
